Welcome to Oakland House!
History
Built in 1853, Oakland House was the home and farm of pioneer banker Louis A. Benoist and his family. The home is now owned and maintained by the Affton Historical Society, who began restoration in the early 1970s. Now a historic museum, Oakland has been restored to its original glory with period-accurate furnishings and décor throughout the home.
