Last fall, Oakland finally answered the call to host a Halloween season program. We welcomed lovers of Edgar Allan Poe’s scary stories for a one-of-a-kind event, which is back by popular demand this year!
The mesmerizing evening featured light refreshments followed by a vignette of 1850’s parlor entertainment. After the lights were dimmed, celebrated stage performer Anne Williams dramatically recited several selections of Poe’s works from memory. We’re delighted to host an encore performance this season.
